Using your printer should be easy and give you great results every time. That is the idealistic view, but what is the reality? Sometimes things happen when you go to use your printer, and it isn't pretty. There can be clogs, paper jams, problems with your HP ink cartridges, and more. The main thing is learning how to deal with the problems and not get stressed with them.
There are some HP printer ink users who have written letters offering advice from their own experiences:
One user writes: If you notice that the quality of your prints is not as good all of a sudden, and you are not out of ink yet, then it may mean that there is a clog somewhere, probably in the nozzles. You can fix this problem by soaking the HP ink cartridges in water for a few hours. The water must not contain any soap or detergent. When you take it out of the water blot it as dry as possible, making sure to be gentle with it. Then leave it out overnight to air dry. You can put it back in your printer in the morning, once you are sure it's dry.
Here's another hint from a user: Don't be afraid to try one of the other options when it comes to changing your HP ink cartridges. There is no reason not to try something which will save you time and maybe some money. Trying an HP printer ink refill may actually be something you will get a bit of benefit from. This may be a bit messy, so you may want to have someone else do it either at an office supply store or through the mail. Sending them out takes a bit longer, so what I did was have new HP ink cartridges on hand, and send out the empties to be filled while using the new ones. Then, when I was out of ink in the new ones, I used the refilled ones. I was really amazed at how well they worked for my printer. I may never go back to buying new again.
From an HP printer ink user: There are many reasons I used HP ink in my printer, after all, it is an HP printer. Anyhow, I tried some of the remanufactured type of cartridges, and was very happy with the results I got. As a matter of fact, there are many reasons I still use this type. I save money. They are high quality. It is a convenient way for me to replace my old cartridges. I am helping to recycle and keep our earth as clean as I can by using something which has been reused.
